Fire doors have various fire resistances. There are options such as EI30, EI60, EI90, EI120, and the last number represents the strength of fire in minutes. For example, a tested fire door tested to EI90 specifications means that it has the ability to trap heat and smoke for 90 minutes under specified test conditions.

All of the fire doors provided are fire doors that have been tested in test laboratories and have the relevant certifications. It is also possible to supply fire doors which are tested and certified in accredited laboratories by the European Technical Assessment (ETA), if requested.

In order to meet the required fire resistance criteria, high importance should be given to the application phase. Even though the choice of material is correct; application and installation faults cause the systems not to work effectively and to provide the necessary features. For example, a fire door with EI90 criteria can not make the zone it is addressing a fire zone and leaves it unprotected due to mounting errors, even if it is certified or first class. For this reason, materials of high importance such as fire doors must be installed to the people of the work; because the application and assembly phase is also important in creating fire zoning as well as material selection.
